I began working in the hearing profession in 1992 as an office manager in my family’s hearing aid business which was then known as the MAICO hearing aid center. I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1995 with a major in Business and a minor in Communication Disorders. That same year I became licensed as a Hearing Instrument specialist in Missouri and was certified by National Board for Hearing Instrument Science. This was also the year that we changed the name of our practice to America’s Best Center for Hearing Aids. Since then, I have served on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Hearing Society and continue to support the mission of ethics and integrity among hearing healthcare professionals in our region.
The best part of my job is the moment that I see a patient’s face light up because they realize that they have restored their ability to communicate with their family and live their lives the way they want to. That is what drives me each day.
